Lafarge is a leading producer of cement products in Malawi. Established in 1956 Lafarge Cement Malawi has played an instrumental role in developing construction works in the country. The company operates a grinding station in Makata Blantyre and Lunzu with an annual capacity of over 300, 000 metric tonnes.

Building on our bold vision to shape the future, Lafarge Cement Malawi continuously invests in innovative products and services for the construction industry. Our core cement brands are Supaset, ideal for heavy industrial construction and the preferred choice for block making, Duracrete, the multi suppose cement which displays high quality standards and ease of application, Kumanga and Khoma for various masonry works. 

In an effort to support the construction industry the company operates concrete laboratories in Blantyre and Lilongwe to provide concrete technology services driving quality assurance and various research and development initiatives.

We take pride in taking the pioneer role in the establishment the iconic contractual works in the country which range from schools to universities, roads to bridges, hospitals to five-star hotels and many housing projects that have created homes for communities nationwide. We have a range of products designed to meet your needs; needs that have been identified from our work with architects, engineers and key stakeholders in the construction process. Established in 1956 as Nyasaland Portland Cement, the Company operates a Cement grinding mill in Blantyre and employes over 400 people.

Lafarge Cement Malawi is a subsidiary of the LafargeHolcim Group, a global leader in building materials and solutions. The Group has four business segments: Cement, Aggregates, Ready Mix Concrete and Solutions & Products.
